What this guy did to turn his house into a seashell palace is pleasantly amazing!

You would love me for sharing this smart architecture idea with you all. If you wish to renovate your house, trust me, this guy has the best way on how not to dig a hole in our pocket! A smart move, fun-loving work, beautiful designs, royal look and most importantly, pocket friendly :) Oops, let me open the curtains for you to display this creativity by Xiao Yongsheng:

I know, it’s so beautiful! The lavish beauty has consumed 2 whole years. Yes, Xiao has himself collected the seashells from the beach. It was easy for him to do that as he owns that beach. This lucky guy loves shells and says, “I’d always liked shells but it never struck me to use them until I was walking on a beach one morning and came across a very unusually colored clam shell and then it hit me.”

The owner of this traditional Chinese house also added, “I didn’t do this for anyone else or to turn my home into an exhibition, I just did it because I wanted to make my home beautiful for myself.”

Loads of work he might have carried out in 2 years. He collected everything he found – from 3 millimeter  seashells to giant conches of 4 kilograms. This 58 years enthusiastic old man said, “I used them for everything – for decoration, for roof tiles, as handles and even crushed up to make mosaics. They are everywhere.”

With all his love, he made this beautiful house a museum to disclose the history of the Island. It’s one of the prime attractions on  Lingshan Island, off the coast of Qingdao city in eastern China’s Shandong province. If you are visiting China, skipping this masterpiece would lead to regrets! Jīngrén de xiǎngfǎ ! :)
