Recently, the live images of the new version of the OnePlus 9 Pro flagship smartphone were leaked online. The leaked images revealed the Pure White color variant of the device that went official earlier this year in March.
Now, the China-based smartphone maker has officially teased the White-colored variant of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The company has shared a teaser video as well as a bunch of photos on its official Weibo account.
The company reveals that the device was made with the “double-layer AG technology” which likely means that it has a matte finish. It also adds that the device doesn’t attract any fingerprints and the brand has described the custom finish as “dreamlike in the smoke” — whatever that means.
OnePlus added that the device showcased in the teaser is the world’s only customized version of the Pure White model. Yes, there is just one such device in the world and the company has confirmed that it has no plans of mass-producing this new variant or commercially launch it.
There’s a possibility that the company had planned to launch a White-colored model but later scrapped those plans. The device currently comes in three color options — Morning Mist, Forest Green, and Stellar Black.
As for the specifications, the device features a 6.7-inch display with over 90% screen-to-body ratio and comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It has a quad-camera setup on that back that includes a 48MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto, 50MP ultrawide, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP snapper and the device comes packed with a 4,500mAh battery having 65W fast charging support.
