Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2, the upcoming device which will be an upgraded variant of the current Galaxy Chromebook is expected to launch soon. The laptop was even leaked a few days ago, revealing some of its key specifications.
Now, in a new leak, it is being claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 could be priced at $699, which is significantly less than the $999 of the original model launched earlier this year. With such a price, the device will compete against the like of Google Pixelbook Go.

As per the previous leak, the South Korean giant is expected to launch the device in February but we expect to know more about the laptop in the coming month, given that the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021 is just a few weeks away.
Leaked renders of the laptop have showcased that it will be available in the same colors as its predecessor — Orange and Grey. But for the newer model, the company seems to have rearranged the ports.
If the reports are to be believed, then the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 will come with a 13.3-inch QLED screen with DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage. Under the hood, it will be powered by Intel’s 10th-generation Core i3 processor and should be offering around 12 hours of battery life.
