It breaks my heart even while saying this, but Barney got married! No, its’ not a rebound thing with Robin but he got hitched to his boyfriend of 10 years, David Burtka.
The two got married last Sunday, in Italy. No, it wasn’t Weekend at Barney’s, but the couple seemed to be waiting for it since 5 years, as they have been engaged since. It was only in 2011 that the state of New York legalized gay marriages and paved the way for these two love birds to become lawfully wedded husbands.
They were joined by their fraternal twin kids Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, as they witnessed their ‘Legendaddys’ to get married to each other. A close friend and director of the hit series How I met your Mother, Pam Fryman had also attended the wedding. But wait, no wedding gets complete without a musical performance, at least not Neil Patrick Harrison’s, so there was also a special performance by Sir Elton John, which was just Legen-wait-for-it-Dary!
So, Barney has finally stopped being single and has become Awesomely Married instead!
