After videos of teachers brutally beating and assaulting students, internet has been flooded with this viral video of a mother beating her daughter’s school director.
Taranjit Kaur Hundal, mother of the daughter studying in Mayor World School in Jalandhar , enters the school’s director, Jyoti Nagrani’s office, locks the door, and began, abusing, assaulting and even strangling her.
It has been reported that the school director had asked Taranjit’s daughter to stop coming to school with her mobile phone. When the daughter told her mother about this, the mother, Taranjit, wife of advocate, KS Hundal, tired to take the matter in her own hands. From when did parents have started to allow their kids to attend school with their mobile phones?
The incident happened on Monday, and on Wednesday the school produced the footage captured on the CCTV camera to the police and lodged a complain under section sections 451 (house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 452 (house trespass after preparation to hurt, assault or wrongful restraint).
The school management and the CBSE Association have also registered this case under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC.
President of the association and chairman, St Soldier Group of Institutions, Anil Chopra, has decided to announce ‘school bandh’ if an FIR under section 307 is not registered against Taranjit Kaur.
