How to set a Wallpaper on iPhone and iPad

Apple recently launched the iPhone 12 series in the global market, and if you are someone who just upgraded to a new iPhone or iPad I am sure you might want to change your Wallpaper to something new or different. iOS comes with a lot of inbuilt Wallpapers that you can use on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. In addition to this, you can also download your own images from the Internet or Wallpaper Apps to use them as your Home Screen or Lock Screen wallpaper. Setting a Wallpaper on an iOS device is easy however a lot of people who are new to iOS devices don’t know how it’s done. Hence in this guide, we are going to show you How to set a Wallpaper on iPhone and iPad. Without waiting further, let’s get started.

How to set a Wallpaper on iPhone and iPad

Method 1: From the Settings App 

Step 1: Bring up the Settings App on your iPhone or iPad. You can launch the App from your Home Screen or if you are using iOS 14 you can search for it in your App Library. Once you are in the Settings App head to the Wallpapers section.

Step 2: Tap on “Choose a new Wallpaper” from the Wallpaper section to bring up a list of available images on your iPhone.

Step 3: If you want to use something from the System Wallpapers then choose between Dynamic or Still else select an image from your Gallery.

Step 4: After selecting an image use the Move and Scale tool on the next page to reposition your Wallpaper. Here you will also get a preview on how it will look on your lockscreen.

Step 5: Tap on “Set” and choose between 3 options- Lockscreen, Homescreen, and Set Both to apply your Wallpaper.

Method 2: From the Photos App

Step 1: Bring up Photos App on your iPhone and search for the image that you want to use as your Wallpaper.

Step 2:  Press on the Share button from the bottom right corner . Scroll down and search for “Use as Wallpaper“.

Step 3: Tap on Use as Wallpaper and then select the Set button to change your Wallpaper.
