South African batsmen have been smashing many ODI records this World Cup! After AB de Villiers slammed the fastest 150 in a month, Hashim Amla too broke Virat Kohli’s record to become the fastest to reach 20 hundreds in the match against Ireland. 
Hashim Amla was dropped by Ed Joyce off the bowling of Kevin O’Brien on 10. He went for his 20th hundred in a mere 108 innings. Our Indian Cricketer, Virat Kohli had taken 133 innings to chase the record.
Virat has played 153 ODIs, while Amla has now played 111 ODIs. Amla’s been a great cricketer however his form has not been impressive in the earlier World Cup matches. The match against Ireland has give Amla to showcase his talent and reach a 100 in the World Cup series.
