Do you know what is called the “WTF News”? News that makes us exclaim, “W-T-F” in shock. Just saying! Another WTF News struck us when we got to know that innocent BJP supporters wasted our resources and built a temple for Narendra Modi in the outskirts of Rajkot (Kotharia road). The temple looks like a hut with wicket-walls.
“We have been worshiping Narendra Modi by placing his photograph at this place for the last 11 years. Now, we have an idol of Modi sculpted. The idol will be installed in the temple on February 15. We have planned a mass-marriage ceremony on the same day. We have invited Union Minister of State for Agriculture Mohan Kundariya and Water Supply Minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani to the event,” told Shankar Patel, the president of Oum Yuva Group which is an informal organisation of BJP workers and youths. This group built the temple.
“The marble idol has been sculpted by a sculptor from Orissa. We have spent Rs 1.7 lakh on the project. We are also planning to place idols of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda in the temple. But that will take another eight months.” told a BJP worker with a tea stall near the temple location.

We don’t know who will sit as the ‘pandit’ in the temple, nor do we care if people will come to worship the idol. What do you have to say about it?
