What happens with ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease? ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) attacks nerve cells and results into total paralysis, though the mind remains active. The patient survives for 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Who is the man behind this challenge?
US baseball player and an ALS patient Pete Frates who challenged people on a social networking site started this.
