Apple is set to launch its iPhone 13 lineup next month and along with that, the US-based tech giant is also expected to launch its next-generation smartwatch — Watch Series 7. This year, the company will also be launching new AirPods, MacBook Pro, and iPad models.
However, ahead of its expected launch next month, the Apple Watch Series 7 has been leaked online, revealing the upcoming wearable device’s design. A report coming from 91Mobiles showcases CAD-based renders which the publication claims were obtained from the industry sources.
It seems that Apple will be getting rid of the rounded edges and will adopt flat sides on the Series 7 models. The Cupertino-based tech giant seems to be updating the design of all of its devices with flat edges, as evident from the latest iPhone and iPad models.
The digital crown and the side button will continue to be positioned on the right side and there will also be a microphone between them. The speaker grille is now expected to be next to each other so it remains to be seen how it will impact the quality.
The leak reveals that the Apple Watch Series 7 will have a 44mm model that will measure 44 x 38 x 9mm and feature a 1.8-inch display. In comparison with its predecessor, the Watch will be thinner but have a larger display. We expect it to officially get launched next month along with the iPhone 13 lineup, likely in the third week of September.
