Twitter has been making some major changes to the platform and in the latest development, the company is now rolling out a way for users to sign up to Revue newsletters directly from tweets.
Now, whenever someone shares their Revue newsletter on the platform, the tweet will also include a subscribe button. If someone clicks on that button, then they will see an option to subscribe. This new update is already available for web users while those using Android and iOS apps will be getting it soon.
Further, you can also opt to receive a newsletter with a single click if your Twitter account is already linked to an email address. In that case, you would not be required to confirm the subscription by clicking on a link in your email.
It’s quite clear that the company is aiming to make it easier for people to convert their Twitter followers into newsletter subscribers. Prior to this update, the company had previously added Revue newsletter signup buttons to profiles on the web, iOS, and Android.
For those who are unaware, the social media platform had acquired Revue in January this year as the newsletter ecosystem continued to pick up steam.
The update should make it easier for people to convert Twitter followers into newsletter subscribers. It’s a big advantage for Revue over the likes of its rivals Substack.
