Saudi Arabia has been conducting air strikes in Yemen against Houthi rebels. In such a condition, a lot of Indians are believed to be stranded in Yemen.
General Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM is an Indian politician and a retired four star general in the Indian Army. As you can see in the picture, unlike most of the politicians, General VK Singh can be seen returning with 180 Indians from Yemen. He was on board IAF C-17 military aircraft with the Indians who were stranded over there due to massive violence and chaos.
How often do you come across a minister who will himself take the charge in his hands, rather than giving speeches and sitting in their air conditioned offices? Such are the people who make us proud. We must sat, once an army man, always an army man!
