Although Sony has not made any official announcements about the WF-1000XM4, there have been several leaks confirming its price and specifications. Leaks suggest that Sony is all prepared to launch its upcoming flagship TWS earbuds in the market soon. The WF-1000XM4 will be a successor to the WF-1000XM3 that was launched by the company last year. The XM4 would come with many upgrades over the XM3.
The renders of the Sony WF-1000XM4 leaks have been around for a while now but even the price is supposedly leaked as well on a Slovakian website. According to The Walkman Blog, the Sony WF-1000XM4 has already been listed on a website. The posting uncovers the price of the gadget alongside its specification. The Sony WF-1000XM4 has been priced at $279.90, as per the listing on the Slovakian website.
Coming to the features, a leaked video has confirmed that the TWS will come with features including active noise cancellation, wireless charging, and speak-to-chat. ANC was also present in last year’s WF-1000XM3 but this time around, Sony has, supposedly, decided to use a different processor for the betterment of ANC. The Sony WF-1000XM4 will be powered by a new Sony V1 integrated processor instead of a QN1e.
The speak-to-chat feature was seen back in 2020, in Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. The feature turns on transparency mode and stops the music when it hears the user’s voice. If reports are to be believed, the device is going to have a much better battery life than last year and would go on for 8 hours on a single charge with the ANC on, and without the ANC, it can go on for 12 hours.
