The Quantino is the 2nd concept sports car by the creators of wacky environment friendly products, nanoFlowcell AG. The first car was e-Sportlimousine. The company revealed their second concept car, Quantino at the Geneva Motorshow last year. Surprisingly, this beautiful beast with state-of-the-art design, gets its energy from saltwater!
The Quantino is a smaller car as compared to the previous, e-Sportlimousine and more affordable, with the rated voltage of only 48 Volts which produces an output of four times 25 kW.
Quantino is a car to die for! According to nanoFlowcell AG, Quantino can run over 200 km/h in all-electric mode and a range of over 1000 km. Quantino is a hatchback, however the company likes to call it a “crossover”.
The concept car comes with ‘2’ 175-litre tanks, and can carry 350 litres of ionic liquid in total, with one tank with a positive charge and one with a negative charge. To refuel it, the driver has to fill the two tanks simultaneously, with a different fluid. nanoFlowcell AG’s planning to bring the car out so it doesn’t only stay like a concept and are currently waiting for the road approval.
