Okay, I’ll just say it. Even I wanted to do it. Pizza is, after all love. First love, to be precise. It never hangs up, gets possessive, cheat on you or forget your birthday.
Nicole Larson, a college student at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada totally felt this way too. She announced to her Facebook friends that she had a very special person in her life, and did a photo shoot to commemorate the occasion.
And that person was…
Pizza!
She told BuzzFeed,
I thought it would be a funny idea but never imagined it would go this viral.
Her photographer, Miriam Ott, a fellow student who is also a professional photographer said,
The moment I heard her idea, I loved it. It was extremely original, and I instantly pictured a romantic park, sitting on a park bench, enjoying fall with a large, cheesy pizza.
She added,
When she brought the Pizza Hut box, it almost gave her ‘partner’ an identity, so I made sure the brand was right side up, and peeking out in all the shots we took. We were both laughing the entire shoot, and I remember joking that these photos should go viral, but I don’t think either of us thought that the response would be this huge, so fast, and so positive. We’re loving it.
There is a message underneath those pictures of body positivity and not [needing] a boyfriend to make you feel loved.
