Mostly every person who is using Windows 10 has Google Chrome as their default browser and they use it regularly to surf the Internet. While a lot of people use Chrome in their daily life there is hardly anyone who knows that one can launch chrome using a Keyboard Shortcut. Just like you bring up the Settings app by pressing Windows Key +I and Task Manage by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE, Windows 10 allows you to create a shortcut for the Apps which you have installed on your PC. How to open Google Chrome with a Keyboard Shortcut

Before we start, make sure you have the Google Chrome browser installed on your PC. Once you have installed the browser on your Windows 10 system you’ll see a shortcut for it on your Desktop or Start Menu. Find the shortcut and follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Right-click on the Google Chrome shortcut from your Desktop and click on Properties from the Bottom.

Step 2: Once you have the Google Chrome properties on your screen, click on the shortcut tab and search for the  Shortcut key text box.

Step 3: Click on the Shortcut key text box and assign a shortcut to launch Google Chrome.  By default, the CTRL + ALT will be a prefix for the shortcut key you selected. For example, if you choose N as the shortcut, you’ll have to press Ctrl+Alt+N to bring up Google Chrome. 

Step 4: Click on Apply and then click on “Ok” to save your settings.
