We have heard about various creative ways to propose your love. People have been buying hundreds of iPhones and even islands to propose their lady love, but what this guy did is pretty cute and creative. Justin Lebon and his lady love have been living on the same street in California for years but the two actually met each other only when they came across each other on a dating app.
The two loved playing Monopoly together and so Lebon thought of dropping the question through the game. He hired a wood-worker named, Mark Becker to help him design a custom Monopoly board with personalized locations, a special “Chance” card, dice with only 7 printed on all its side, and a tiny secret compartment to put the ring.
“Making Property Cards on excel. Sorry they aren’t screen shots. I was texting these photos to my friend while sitting next to my soon to be fiancé. I had to be quick and discrete.” ;)
“I knew years ago that Michal was the one, but it was a few months ago I decided I was going to ask Michal to marry me on Christmas morning”
“Michal unwraps the present and instantly sees the board game lay out and says ‘a monopoly board!’”
“I handed her a pair of loaded dice. They would only allow her to roll a 7. The number she needed to land on Chance. That’s where I put the ‘will you marry me card.”
She reads the chance card out loud ‘…Will you marry me?’ and said ‘is this REAL!?’”
The card read, “If yes advance to luxury tax.” “I took the wire key and popped open a secret door underneath the luxury tax…”
“I took the ring out and slipped in on her finger. It fit perfect too.”
“She loved every second of the proposal, and I’m glad she did. It took a lot of planning, but I enjoyed every second of it”
