When 18-year-old Malala is not fighting for female education rights, inspiring people and winning awards, she is probably working on her mind-blowing card tricks at home. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert invited Malala Yousafzai over for a great chat. After a few minutes in the interview, the host Stephen Colbert asked Malala if she could show him one of her ultimate card tricks.
She said she could and what happened next is unbelievable. Malala started out by shuffling the cards like a pro.
Next, she asked Stephen to pick one card out of the five in front of him and show it to the audience but not her.
She even closed her eyes so people could see she was not cheating.
Now it was her turn to show the magic. She turned around to check if there was a camera behind her to steal her trick. Attagirl!
Malala, the lovely magician now told Stephen that she could read his mind and that it said nothing at all. She has a superb sense of humor. :)
The next thing she did is cast a spell. No! Really… she did do something we couldn’t see with our eyes. Can you spot it? You will be shocked to see how one of the cards placed in front of Stephen turned into the card he originally picked for the trick.
One word for Malala: Magical!
