WarnerMedia is all set to release Wonder Woman 1984, the second movie in the Wonder Woman franchise starring Gal Gadot in the titular role. Unlike the previous movie and most of the other superhero movies, this one is getting released on HBO Max.
The company has confirmed that the movie will be available to stream in the highest quality of 4K HDR. But for that, you will need a subscription to the streaming platform, as well as the right kind of devices.
If you want to watch Wonder Woman 1948 in 4K HDR with HDR 10 or Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio, then here is the list of compatible devices.
- Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Cube
- Android TVs, including AT&T Streaming Box
- Apple TV 4K
- Google Chromecast Ultra
- Chromecast with Google TV (no Atmos audio)
- Roku Ultra 4800x, Roku 4k TVs
- Xfinity X1 (Xi6) and Flex
The Roku devices have been added to the list after HBO Max and Roku both agreed upon a deal that had been stuck for months.
Interestingly, none of the newly launched gaming consoles, including Xbox X and PlayStation 5 have been added to the list of supporting devices. We expect more devices to be added to this list, but for the time being, the list is limited to the devices listed above.
