How do you call yourself a proud Indian? What makes you an Indian? Watching cricket matches and supporting team India? Sure. But apart from that, doesn’t it come along with a lot of other responsibilities towards the nation?
Humans of Bombay shared the story of a woman who was born right after India’s independence. She’s a Catholic and has grown up in a Muslim area. Even then, she never felt out of place. She has been teaching culture studies to students and in a way she feels like she’s doing her part trying to educate another generation about our culture.
