It beats me how many of us still don’t understand what feminism is and how we are supposed to perceive it. A lot of women I know speak about equality among both the genders, but somehow, they don’t want to be identified as feminists. The same holds true for a lot of men as well. To settle it once and for all, shall we read the dictionary meaning of feminism? Here goes:
Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment.
So yes, it isn’t something really understand. Old Delhi Films shared a video wherein two people are working in an office, a man and a woman. Their conversation leads to a situation wherein the viewer is forced to answer, who the real feminist among the two is. Watch, and decide for yourself.
