The sad story of a ‘Devdasi’ whose mother wouldn’t support her to get out of it

Mothers are considered to be equivalent to God, in India. They are known to support their children through thick and thin. However, not everyone is as lucky as most of us.

Humans of Bombay shared the story of a young girl who was forced to be a Devdasi. She insisted her mother to allow her to work, so that she could support the both of them. Sadly, her mother wouldn’t agree to that. Read her entire story here –
