What does it take to achieve your dreams and ambitions? Hard-work, dedication, and consistency. Apart from that, nothing can stop one when there’s support of their loved ones, along with being technologically sound. This video by Samsung Mobile India talks about one such inspiring story of a student from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Kannad, Aurangabad, who hails from a remote village called Chinchada in Maharashtra.
Sadanand Ugale had high dreams of becoming a doctor, so that he could return to his village and serve his people. For that, he needed to be educated first, and that is when the CSR initiative, #SapneHueBade by Samsung came into picture. The Samsung Smart Class Initiative helped him represent his nation globally.
This initiative was started by Samsung and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti back in 2013. Due to the massive success of this initiative, today as many as 373 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya boast its presence and more than 2 lakh students have been introduced to modern learning techniques by using Samsung tablets, Smartboards and other such devices. Getting introduced to such modern technology helps these students dream and achieve bigger, and it shows the sincere commitment to Make for India.
Talking about the Samsung Smart Classes, each of them are equipped with latest audio-visual tools, like Samsung Tablets. There are 41 tabs per class. Apart from that, students can take advantage of interactive smartboard, printer and other devices. Moreover, these classes also have learning apps for Computer Science, Mathematics, English and Science. The main reason behind the initiative is to make complicated things easy and fun to learn for the students. Not only that, it also makes the teachers; jobs easy by retaining the students’ attention.
