Samsung will be hosting its Galaxy Unpacked event on 11th August where the South Korean giant will be launching the next-generation foldable smartphones as well as the new Galaxy Watch powered by the Wear OS. Now, the company has confirmed that it will also launch a new S Pen which is designed for foldable.
Customers have been demanding a stylus like S Pen for foldable smartphones as such device would complement the larger screen size available on such smartphones and now it seems that Samsung is finally ready to meet the demand. At the moment, apart from the fact that the S Pen is coming, nothing much is known about this upcoming product.
As rumored earlier, the Galaxy Note series smartphone won’t be getting launched at the event. TM Roh, President of Samsung, has said that “instead of unveiling a new Galaxy Note this time around, we will further broaden beloved Note features to more Samsung Galaxy devices.”
It’s quite clear that Samsung is focusing on foldable smartphones and being the leader in the market, it wants to hold on to the top spot with innovative devices and features. While most smartphone makers are yet to launch a foldable smartphone, this South Korean giant is getting ready to launch a third-generation device.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are available for pre-booking through the company’s Reserve Now program which also allows customers to trade in up to two devices, including phones, tablets, and wearables, towards new Galaxy products getting launched next month.
