Samsung has scheduled a launch event on 11th August where the South Korean giant is planning to launch a few devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 and a few more products. The brand is also expected to announce the Galaxy S21 FE 5G at the event.
Now, it appears that Samsung may have revealed the smartphone ahead of its official launch a couple of days later. An official post from the company on Instagram for the Back To School campaign shows an unreleased smartphone next to a pair of TWS earphones and a tablet. The phone is likely to be the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE 5G.
It is likely to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate technology, while the entry-level configuration is expected to pair 128 gigs of internal storage space with an 8GB RAM. The device could come powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset along with a 4,400mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to have a similar design to the regular Galaxy S21 5G and the S21+ 5G with some minor changes. Given that many companies are facing production issues due to the global chip shortage, it remains to be seen if Samsung goes ahead with the official launch of Galaxy S21 FE 5G on 11th August.
