The Indian government is putting in efforts to connect rural communities to the internet and give people access to more services online through its campaign Digital India. For the same, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Facebook HQ and during one of the interactions, Mark Zuckerberg asked the Prime Minister to share his childhood stories, how his parents helped him to reach where he is and how they have impacted his life.

The Prime Minister choked while talking about the struggles of his mother. He also said that there are hundreds and thousands of mothers in India who have sacrificed their lives for their children. And that is why he’d like to thank all the mothers from the bottom of his heart.
