Earlier Apple didn’t allow its users to customize their home screen and every app you installed directly came on one of your app pages. However, with the introduction of iOS 14, Apple introduced App Drawer and along with that it also made changes to the App Screen. Users can now add widgets, remove apps and In addition to this, they can also hide the App Pages.
While a lot of people have already upgraded their iPhones to iOS 14 not many of them are aware of how this is done. Hence in this guide, we will show you a step-by-step process on how you hide app pages from the home screen of your iPhone. Without waiting further, let’s get started.
How to hide app pages on iPhone running iOS 14
Step 1: Get your iPhone screen in the Edit Mode. To do this, simply long-press on the blank area on your home screen or any of the app pages.
Step 2: Once you are in the Edit mode, tap on the dot icons from the bottom of your screen.
Step 3: When you are displayed with the Pages on your iPhone, uncheck the pages that you don’t need.
Step 4: Press the “Done” button from the top right corner to save your changes, Doing this will hide the pages you’ve unchecked.
That’s it. You can also follow the same process if you want to unhide the hidden pages later. Do note that even if you hide app pages, the newly downloaded apps will still show up in the “Recently Added” section of the App Library. In addition to this, they’ll also be there on the home screen so you’d have to remove them manually.
