Ireland’s batsmen, Ed Joyce got lucky during yesterday’s match against UAE at the Gabba in Brisbane! When Amjad Javed from the UAE team bowled in the 11th over while Ed was only at 16 runs, the ball beat the batsman and hit the off stump. However, the off-bails jumped and settled back on the stumps. The enthusiastic UAE players got annoyed at this while Ed had a time of his life. He was relieved off the tension as he survived a rare occasion and was ready to play.
The match had enough to offer all the cricket enthusiasts! The Irish bowler, Kevin O’Brien humorously struck the Karate Kid pose after catching Krishna Karate in the match.
