New details coming from David Naranjo, Senior Director at Display Supply Chain Consultants claims that the foldable Pixel smartphone could be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. It is also claimed that the Google Pixel Fold will be using the LTPO OLED display panel.

If not launched, there’s a possibility that the search engine giant could announce the smartphone in the fourth quarter of this year, i.e. by the end of this year. It could be a part of the “one more thing” announcement at the upcoming Pixel 6 series launch event, but it’s just speculation at this time.

Google has revealed a few key features of the upcoming Pixel 6 series and more details will be shared at the official launch, which is expected to take place on 19th October.

An unnamed Pixel smartphone with model number GPQ72 and codename “Password” was leaked, which is believed to be the upcoming Pixel foldable phone. However, there’s not much known about this device. A patent filing by the company revealed that it could feature an in-display camera sensor. To know more about this product, we’ll have to wait a bit longer.
