If you ever been through a break up and have recovered from it, you would know that it is not a day or a month’s work to move on. It takes time, and pretty long time to move on. It involves a lot of phases, but the best part is, you can survive them, and come out to be a better person.
Cherlyn Chong, 28, was born and raised in Singapore. She spent some time in the U.S., and now lives in Singapore again. Like most of us, she also experienced some pain recently. Which is why, she knows something about the pain of heartbreak.
A few months ago, the man she was planning to marry ended their relationship. He had brought her a ring and everything. Quite obviously, she was heartbroken. She said,
a gesture of defiance, closure and expression of my feelings all rolled into one. An added bonus is that it’s a pretty nifty way to explain the breakup to my friends.
