Apple is expected to launch its next-generation iPhone models in a couple of weeks and along with that, the new Apple Watch Series 7 could also be announced. But a new report now claims that the upcoming smartwatches from the company could be delayed because of production issues.
The report from Mark Gurman claims that the device will be announced along with the iPhone 13 series but the actual launch date will be pushed back. As of now, there’s no information about how many weeks Apple could delay the shipments of the new smartwatch models.
There’s a possibility that the Apple Watch Series 7 could start shipments from October but the exact date is not yet known. The company could also choose to just delay the affected smartwatch models and make the rest of them available for purchase as per the set schedule.
So far, Apple hasn’t even confirmed the launch date for the iPhone 13 and Watch Series 7 but if the reports are to be believed, then the company is set to unveil the new devices at an event on 14th September and official launch invites should start being sent out in the coming days.
