On Thursday, May 21 in a debate with Asaduddin Owaisi, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi asked all those who like to eat beef to go to ‘Pakistan or Arab countries’.
“It is not about loss or profit… it is an issue of faith and belief. It is a sensitive issue for the Hindus. Those who are dying without eating beef, can go to Pakistan or Arab countries or any other part of world where it is available.“ Naqvi said, at ‘Manthan’ conclave organised by TV channel Aaj Tak, as reported by Economic Times.
May be, irritated Naqvi made the statement in the spur of the moment because it backfired. Upon hearing the statement, angered Asaduddin Owaisi, asked Naqvi, “What are they selling in Goa? Will you send the Goa CM to Pakistan?”
Did Naqvi really intend to ask all beef eaters to go to Pakistan?
