Nokia teaser confirms launch of company’s first tablet on 6th October

HMD Global, the Finnish company which holds the license of the Nokia brand, had confirmed last week that the company will be hosting a launch event on 6th October. However, at the time, the firm had not revealed what devices it planned to make official next week.

Now, the company has shared a new teaser which confirms that the new product coming from the company on 6th October is a tablet. Revealing this, the company tweeted: “Everything you’d expect from a Nokia phone in a tablet. Coming 6.10.21”.

The upcoming tablet from Nokia is expected to be running the vanilla version of Android out-of-the-box without any heavy UI skin on top. Similar to the smartphones from this brand, the tablet is also expected to offer software support for OS updates for two years and security updates for three years.

The company has also teased the tablet by sharing a teaser image but it doesn’t reveal much. However, we can see the flat frame of the upcoming tablet with rounded corners. It is also revealed that the device will come with a dark gray or black finish with a pretty slim profile.

While Nokia hasn’t revealed the phone’s specifications, leaks indicate that it will feature a 10.36-inch display and be powered by an Unisoc processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is expected to get launched as Nokia T20 but to know for sure, we’ll have to wait for the official launch in a few days.
